Buying images for private use
If you want to purchase a print directly from me, please feel free to do so by using the mail-to link at the foot of this page to send the following details:

1) The title of the print/s you want - this will be at the top of the window in your browser and will normally take the form of a code number.
2) The quantity of prints you want.
3) An address to send the print/s to.

Unless specifically requested, the images will be printed on an A4 sheet of glossy or matte (please specify your choice) photo paper.
The maximum dimension of the image will be 21cm.

Each loose, unmounted print will cost:
£8 plus £1 postage and packaging.

Once you have e-mailed an order, I will mail the print/s with an invoice and also send you an e-mail with details of payment options and where to send payment.

Why the low price compared to what you would expect to pay for work from a gallery? If people like the work I produce, I take the view that it should be made available at as low a cost as possible, so it can be accessible to the widest possible audience. I'm not interested in selling my work to an elite of art snobs. If someone on a low income wants something a bit different from the norm to hang on their wall, why should they have to pay a high price for it? Are they not entitled to as much enjoyment from a creative image as someone on a high income? Of course they are entitled to it, hence the low prices!

Also as I shoot digitally, it is possible if demand dictates, to produce a large number of prints from a single file. In theory, there could be many copies of a single image, printed off with relatively little effort. The price reflects this. This is unlike traditional darkroom printing which involves considerably more time and expertise in the production of prints, meaning a limited number are produced. This rarity value, along with the skill involved in darkroom printing, means that the higher prices charged by photographers using traditional methods are justified.
